"My poster A Hundred Flowers Blossoming uses 100 images captured and edited from the television in my room at the Foreign Experts Dormitory at CAFA in Beijing where I’m currently teaching. The images cycle every 3 seconds and are projected onto a hanging scrim. In front of this is another piece of scrim on which the poster text is also projected. The resulting image is an A0 size poster, with type and image on different planes. It’s an experiment in deconstructed form, space and vocabulary and I hope it retains the essential qualities of a poster – to communicate a message."
